What you will do

• Analyze business requirements and design solutions to meet those requirements
• Participate in reviews of system architecture, code, and design documents
• Build backend code for financial processes from scratch and modify existing core applications using Java and Spring
• Be the owner of the built components in production, performing needed support, troubleshooting and monitoring Must haves
  • 3+ years of professional experience using Java and Spring
  • Databases: Mongo, Postgres (or any other relational database)
  • Microservices and REST/API based development expertise
  • Automated testing in a Java application (e.g., unit tests, integration tests);
  • Ability to work as part of a Scrum team
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science/engineering or other technical field, or equivalent experience
  • Experience developing applications with complex business logic
  • Strong verbal English skills Nice to haves
    • Experience with Postgres;
    • Control-M or similar orchestration platform;
    • Drools or similar Business Rules Management System;
    • Experience tuning and maximizing performance for high volume;
    • Experience with Cloud Technologies such as Pivotal Cloud Foundry;
    • Asset Management / Investments / FinTech experience;
    • Working knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment and DevOps principles and tools (e.g., GitHub, Bamboo, SonarQube, Veracode). The benefits of joining us
