Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This position
offers a rewarding opportunity to provide speech-language pathology
services to K-12 students in a school setting within the Fort
Lauderdale, FL area. The role is a contract position based in
Pompano Beach, FL, involving a full 37.5-hour workweek over five
days. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver assessment, evaluation, and
intervention services to students with speech and language
impairments. - Develop individualized treatment plans based on
student needs. - Collaborate with educators, parents, and other
professionals to support student progress. - Maintain accurate
records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Attend relevant meetings and participate in ongoing professional
development. Qualifications: - Valid Florida Speech-Language
Pathologist (SLP) license is required. - Experience working with
school-aged children from kindergarten to 12th grade. - Strong
communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work
independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. - Knowledge
of current evidence-based practices in speech-language pathology.
