Job Details: Location: Near Belle Glade, FL Profession: Physician - Neurology Position Type: Locum to Perm Practice Setting: Hospital-Based, Stroke Call in a Comprehensive Stroke Center Reason for Coverage: Replacement of Retired Neurologist Dates of Coverage: ASAC until Permanent Placement is Agreed Upon Schedule (Shifts and Hours): Sunday - Saturday, 8a - 5p Call Ratio: 1:3 Percent of the Practice that is Adult: 100% Percent of the Practice that is Outpatient: 10% Percent of the Practice that is Inpatient: 87% Percent of the Practice that is Rehab: 3% Average Number of Office/Clinic Patients Per Locum Per Day: Variable Average Number of Hospital-Based Patients Per Locum Per Day: 10-15 Group Composition: 12 Physicians, 5 APP's Onsite Lab and X-Ray: Yes Office Ancillary Staff: 2 RNs, 9 MAs, 9 Patient Care Coordinators (PCC's) Office Equipment: NCV, EMG, EEG EMR: Meditech (Converting to EPIC in October) Trauma Level/Designation: Community-Based Hospital Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 2-3 months Position Requirements: BC/BE within 5 years - Required Must have ALS/MS experience - Required Required Neurology Procedures: Radiologic Exam Interpretation, Diagnostic/Therapeutic Taps, Lumbar Puncture, Thrombolytic Therapy, EEG (Electroencephalogram), Brain Death Exam, EMG (Electromyogram) Must express interest in Locum to Perm Why Consider This Opportunity?
