About the Role

The primary purpose of the Carrier Sales Manager is to identify, develop and consolidate working relationships with strategic Carrier partners to ensure a high-growth strategy.

The Carrier Sales Manager will also secure FTL and LTL truckload coverage while positioning Cargobot digital platform as a powerful and dynamic way of connecting shippers and carriers.

The essential job duties shall include, but not be limited to, the following:

• Managing Carrier operations team.
  
• Plan and develop carrier sales strategy.
  
• Develop, foster and consolidate carrier relationships to enhance performance.
  
• Negotiate carrier bids to move client shipments while achieving revenue and profit objectives.
  
• Maximize margin by utilizing historical data and market indices.
  
• Document, update and distribute carrier contracts to the team
  What You ll Need
  
  • College degree preferred, but not required, especially in Supply Chain Management or Business Management
    
  • Minimum of 2 - 3 years of experience in logistics / Dispatcher transportation or similar position.
    
  • Proven track record of growing new business and revenue growth, preference given to those with freight sales experience.
    
  • Truckload/Brokerage experience required
    
  • Carrier book of business is a plus
    
  • Strong time management skills.
    
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and sell key company services based on current corporate objectives.
    
  • Intermediate to expert skill level in Ms Excel and MS Office. Excel is used on a daily basis.
