Job Description:
Certified Automotive Technician Job Summary: Our client is
seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Certified Automotive
Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will diagnose,
maintain, and repair a wide range of vehicles while delivering
exceptional service and ensuring customer satisfaction. You’ll work
in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment where quality and
efficiency are a top priority. Key Responsibilities: Perform
accurate diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on all types of
vehicles (foreign and domestic). Conduct routine services such as
oil changes, tire rotations, brake jobs, battery replacements, etc.
Use diagnostic tools and OEM software to identify issues and
recommend appropriate repairs. Communicate with service advisors
about vehicle issues, repair timelines, and required parts.
Complete repair orders thoroughly, documenting work performed and
parts used. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. Stay
up to date on the latest automotive technologies and manufacturer
updates. Ensure all work meets dealership, industry, and safety
standards. Qualifications: ASE Certification or equivalent
automotive technician certification required. High school diploma
or GED; technical/vocational school preferred. Minimum 2–5 years of
experience in automotive repair. Valid driver’s license and clean
driving record. Strong knowledge of automotive systems (engine,
transmission, brakes, suspension, HVAC, etc.). Proficiency with
diagnostic tools, scanners, and repair software. Excellent
problem-solving and time-management skills. Ability to lift up to
50 lbs and stand for long periods. Preferred Qualifications:
Manufacturer-specific certifications (Ford, GM,CDJR). Experience
with hybrid or electric vehicles. State inspection license (if
applicable in your state). All qualified applicants will receive
