us.Introduction:Our new Boeing Jacksonville facility is seeking
Aviation Maintenance Professionals that are motivated to support a
greater cause in directly impacting military warfighter readiness
by providing critical maintenance repairs and modifications to the
Navy's P-8A Poseidon. We are proud knowing the products we return
to service will strengthen global security.Due to an expected high
applicant rate for this program, this advance requisition is posted
for the sake of identifying talented professionals who are
completing a FAA Part 147 Airframe and Powerplant training and
certification program. Candidates will be identified incrementally
for a candidate pool over the course of the next 12 months as we
commence this new statement of work, and continue to scale upward
with increasing staffing requirements.As a Boeing employee, you

positions will join our MRO organization, working as part of a team
in support of our key programs. The candidates chosen will be
responsible for adherence to established processes, accurate and
timely work recording and contractual/regulatory compliance. To
ensure we continue to support our customers, we are looking for
skilled aircraft maintenance professionals to join our team.
Successful applicants will be based in Jacksonville, FL.--P-8A
Poseidon:The Boeing P-8 Poseidon is a commercial derivative
military aircraft developed by Boeing Defense based on a modified
design of the 737-800ERX. The platform was initially developed for
the US Navy, first flown in 2009 and introduced into service in
2013. The Aircraft is fitted with equipment to tackle a diverse
range of missions, including submarine hunting, performing
reconnaissance missions and supporting search & rescue operations.
Our program will retrofit the highly capable Multi-mission platform
for the next decade.Primary Responsibilities:
- Level 1 (Entry Level)
- Comply with Service Bulletins and Airworthiness Directives as
required
- Familiarity with maintenance manuals
- Maintain equipment and tools in good working order
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Accurately log work performed and record on maintenance
forms
- Follow instructions and procedures for performed task
- Perform efficient troubleshooting, aircraft maintenance, and
repair in accordance with applicable regulations, manufacturer's
instructions, and company policies
- Ensure consistent, accurate aircraft maintenance records by
properly documenting & completing required forms, computer entries,
and logbook entries
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and regulations
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment
- Perform job duties in a safe manner
- Punctual to work each day and prepared to work scheduled work
hours

- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company
processes and procedures
- Maintain a high standard of organization and cleanliness within
assigned work areas, "Clean as You Go"

- Be flexible to ensure aircraft are delivered on time to
customer
- Perform other duties as directed by management for the benefit
of the company, program or employee(s)This position is expected to
be 100% onsite.-- The selected candidate will be required to work
onsite Boeing Jacksonville or any of the BGS sites when needed to
support associated work. --This position requires the ability to
obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government
requires U.S. Citizenship.--An interim and/or final U.S. Secret
Clearance Post-Start is require---d. Basic Qualifications (Required
Skills/Experience):
- Successfully complete FAA Part 147 curriculum with associated
Airframe and Powerplant certifications, with a GPA of 92% or higher
(or anticipate successful completion within 6 months or prior to
start date. non completion of A&P License training would result
in not meeting requirements and the offer being rescinded)
- Knowledge of general aircraft maintenance and environment
processes (Human Factors, FOD control, tool control, health &
safety & COSHH)
- Proficient computer skills, use of the Microsoft Office
suiteTypical Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or GED; and
- FAA Part 147 accredited programRelocation:Relocation
