Job Description:
Description SUMMARY In support of the university’s mission and
objectives, the Recruiter for the School of Ministry Graduate
Programs is responsible for executing recruitment activities for
the School of Ministry graduate programs. This position focuses on
high-touch outreach, recruitment travel, relationship development,
and direct engagement with prospective students, churches, and
ministry partners. The Recruiter works collaboratively with
academic leadership, admissions, and enrollment marketing to
support enrollment growth goals. Recruitment Activities and
Outreach Participates in recruitment events and travel aligned with
established enrollment strategy and goals. Coordinates and hosts
recruiting events and prospective student visits on campus in
collaboration with the Dean, Associate Dean for Graduate Programs,
Admissions, and other university departments. Represents the School
of Ministry at conferences, graduate fairs, seminary days, church
events, and denominational meetings. Actively participates in
extensive recruiting travel to cultivate prospective student
relationships and support enrollment targets. Builds and maintains
relationships with pastors, ministry leaders, alumni, and referral
partners to expand recruitment pipelines. Recruitment Engagement
and Operations Conducts daily outreach and follow-up with
prospective students via phone, email, virtual meetings, and
in-person interactions. Serves as a top of funnel contact point for
prospective students regarding program options, admissions
requirements, scholarships, and vocational discernment. Advises
applicants and prospective students regarding needed documentation
for application completion as needed. Partners with Financial Aid
and Student Services to deliver coordinated guidance and support to
prospective students. Collaborates with Enrollment Marketing staff
to execute Slate communication through drip marketing campaigns,
event follow-up, and mailers. Enrollment Planning Contributes to
enrollment planning discussions by providing field insights,
recruitment feedback, and prospective student trends. Assists with
the implementation of enrollment strategies developed by academic
and admissions leadership. Provides recommendations based on travel
outcomes, event performance, and inquiry behavior. Recruitment Data
& Support Maintains accurate recruitment activity data in Slate.
Generates routine recruitment reports to support Admissions
leadership, the Dean, and institutional reporting needs. Reviews,
analyzes, and discusses ATS data related to recruitment strategies.
Attends ATS SPAN meetings, webinars, and training events, as
needed. Develops and manages applicant and inquiry queries in Slate
and takes follow-up action as needed. Qualifications EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in bible, ministry, theology, or other related
field, required; Master's degree preferred, or equivalent
experience. EXPERIENCE 2 years’ experience in recruiting for
theological education, congregational community organization,
and/or higher education work. ESSENTIAL COMPETENCIES (Knowledge,

REQUIREMENTS Ability to travel 50% of the time, including overnight
and weekend travel. Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license.
Must meet the requirements necessary to rent a vehicle for
out-of-town travel. Must have the ability to travel locally using a
personal vehicle. Ability to work non-routine hours during certain
times of the year. Ability to traverse campus and stairs. Ability
to lift/move objects up to 25 pounds.
