Overview: We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive
Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our Accounting Department.
The ideal candidate will take ownership of the A/R process,
ensuring accurate billing, efficient collections, and strong
customer relationships while maintaining financial accuracy,
accountability, professional relationships with customers and
internal departments. Key Responsibilities: Generate and post
customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner. Record and
reconcile daily deposits, payments, and adjustments. Monitor A/R
aging reports and follow up with customers on past-due balances via
phone, email, and written correspondence. Research and resolve
billing discrepancies, short payments, and chargebacks. Process and
record credit card payments, refunds, and adjustments securely.
Maintain updated customer account information, including payment
terms, contact details, and credit limits. Prepare and distribute
A/R reports for management review. Support month-end closing
activities including journal entries, reconciliations, and
reporting. Collaborate with the Sales, Customer Service, and
Accounting teams to ensure accuracy and smooth financial
operations. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting,
Finance, or related field required. 3–5 years of hands-on A/R
experience (collections and reconciliation preferred). Strong
proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/Accounting systems
(experience with QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar platforms is a
plus). Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a
professional and customer-focused approach. Strong attention to
detail, analytical mindset, and ability to problem-solve
independently. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet
